Coeur d'Alene, Idaho - City of Coeur d'Alene vote in favor of renewing a recently rescinded mask mandate inflaming tensions in North Idaho

Only days after Kootenai County rescinded mandating masks the City of Coeur d'Alene City Council (video)took it upon themselves to flex their authoritarian muscle to force individuals into wearing masks or face a possible $100 dollar civil fine if found in non-compliance by a vote in favor 4-2.

Peoples Rights has created an event today Location: Fort Ground Gril 705 River Ave, Coeurd'Alene, ID 83814 at 4pm to protest this business which is owned by Mayor of Coeur d'Alene Steve Widmyer.  This is one of many upcoming protests to inform the city council we do not consent to uncontitutional actions by elected officials.

Mayor Steve Widmyer being escorted into city council to vote on mandatory mask mandate.

Will enforcing a $100 dollar civil penalty for not wearing a mask work?  Lets take a look at the City of Kellogg which passed an Emergency Order 611 late July which gave the city emergency powers to then pass an ordinance to enforce a $100 civil  fine for non compliance regarding mask mandates.

After a public record request with the City of Kellogg we have found since the inception of the mask ordinance early August the Police Chief Dave Wuolle of Kellogg stated the following:

The simple matter of fact is that if the City of Kellogg cannot enforce this ordinance, its safe to assume the City of Coeur d'Alene may also share a similar experience due to man power.
