Reply I would also like to point out a down side to this process. There will always be some bad characters who will put money and/or power before the well being of other people. My sister told me of one issue that led to the FDA which were farmers putting animal brains in the milk to make it have more fat and make it thicker. Apparently, it must have tasted OK so people were buying and consuming it until it started to make them sick and they finally figured out why. Additionally, labor unions were first established because some employers were too much like a ‘slave driver’ and protections needed to be put into place for lunch breaks and safety measures. Both of these started out good for a specific reason. Unfortunately, these entities don’t take care of the issue at hand and then go away. They grow bigger and bigger and then have to ‘make stuff up’ to justify their continued existence.
