News UPDATE WEEK: JANUARY 8TH

Adding Your Zip Code to the People's Rights System:

We want to remind everyone that your zip code MUST be added into the People's Rights system. Because we are growing, all over the US, we must be able to divide into smaller and smaller areas. This is the goal of People's Rights! In order to do this we must be able to identify what city people live in, as areas consist of more than one city and even counties. If you have NOT added your zip code to the system please do so, if not, you will no longer be receiving text/email alerts and will not be part of the People's Rights system. 

Here is how you enter your zip code:

1. Go to peoplesrights.org

2. Sign in using your username/password. If you do not have one for the system enter your phone number and an access code will be sent to you.

3. Once you are logged in you will immediately be asked to enter your zip code. Again, IF THIS STEP IS NOT DONE YOU WILL NOT RECIEVE TEXT ALERTS, EMAILS, ETC. 

4. From here you can create a username and password. Go to "my account" where you can do so along with view your profile. 

Communication:

We want to remind everyone the primary form of communication between area assistants and you will be through the People's Rights system via email/text alerts and newsrooms. There are secondary lines of communication for people in our area to use, mostly through the app Telegram. This is a way to stay connected with others in our area, be part of the different Area 3 teams telegram groups, and discuss different topics. If you would like to join the Area 3 Peoples chat.

Upcoming Legislative Session:

The 2021 legislative session is quickly approaching. 

We are asking two things of Area 3:

1. We need ALL to call and email their representatives regarding this upcoming session. Ask them if they will commit to showing up on the 11th and express your disapproval/concerns about voting on a 2021 budget first thing. Remember, if this happens there will be no more legislative session. Our representatives will then be free to leave. This is dangerous!! Also express how passionate you are for their support in the impeachment of Brad Little and ending this lockdown NOW. Our legislatures need to hear from us and they need to understand that we are paying attention. 2. We need ALL to show up at the capital for the first day of the legislative session on January 11th at 8 am. If you can, take the day off and consider this one of the most important days of 2021 for Idaho. When we don't show up, we can't hold them accountable and we MUST hold them accountable! END THE LOCKDOWN!!!

Idaho is the LAST conservative state on the West Coast. We must understand the fight that is taking place between the elite (democrats AND republicans) and those who want to keep Idaho conservative. 

WE MUST HOLD THE LINE!

HAM Radio:

Our ham team has been hard at work! We want to remind you of the resources through the People's Rights server for ham. You will see a tower icon. Click on that icon for more information regarding Area 3's Ham Radio Net that is conducted each Sunday at 730pm Through the icon, you can also RSVP for ham testing OR training January 9th at 10am in Emmett. If you are interested in taking practice ham tests before officially taking the real thing you can do so here

PROTEST- West Ada School District 

There will be a protest on January 12th at 5:30 pm at the West Ada School District, 1303 E Central Drive, Meridian. It is absolutely disgusting what the public education system has done to our children and they MUST be called out. Did you know that in West Ada, if a child has a mask exemption that they are to sit FURTHER away from their peers and must have a shield around their desk. This is WRONG and damaging to our children. Let's show up and be a voice for these precious souls.
