Hi Everyone,  I have got another potluck planned for Saturday Jan. 15th and have reserved the pavilion that we have always used at 2888 E. Brown Rd Mesa 85213 from 12 to 3.  This is just east of  Gilbert Rd and just south of the 202.

 We will be teaching how to can  dry food in #10 cans cans. Bring any loose rice, powdered milk. wheat, beans etc to put into these cans to be stored for up to 30 years. You will need to bring your own oxy packs which you can purchase online.  Just get the small ones. I think they are 50 cc, You will want to pick up your cans and lids or wheat etc in 50lb bags at Honeyville 601 S. 54th st.315 Chandler, az 85226, They don't take cash.   

 I will bring my canner so that you all can use it and I also have the boxes that 6 cans fits in for 1$. You will need to tell me about how many you will need so I can bring enough.

Those of you not interested in canning I will be teaching how to take loose herbs and make into tinctures which have no shelf life. 

Those interested need to bring qt jars ( i like wide mouth but not necessary), lids to fit, 100 proof vodka, and your herb. I will bring markers, etc.

Bring a dish to share. We could use some bottled water but I will bring plates, plastic ware and napkins.
