Idaho Poll Workers Needed - Free Thinkers Need Not Apply
In order to register to be a poll work in the state of Idaho, one must be "willing to wear a mask for the duration of [their] time inside the polling location".
According to the Secretary of State's website for Idaho voter information (https://voteidaho.gov/poll-workers/), if you are interested in serving as a poll worker in your county, you must complete the following form:
If you do not check the box that says "I am willing to wear a mask for the duration of my time inside of the polling location (if required by the county.)", you are not able to complete the form.
I would encourage anyone, whether interested in serving as a poll worker or not, to write to our Idaho Secretary of State, Lawerence Denny. As masking has been scientifically shown to have no clinical effectiveness, and is primarily a political/social acceptance issue, ask him why the state of Idaho is only interested in people who are believed to be either fully compliant to senseless mandates and perhaps unable to think for themselves, or motivated by irrational fears. We need poll workers who are capable of thinking for themselves, willing to stand up and say something when they see problems or issues that concern them. We need poll workers who aren't just mindless sheep who just follow orders because that's what they're supposed to do. That is NOT what Idaho wants, nor is it what Idaho needs at our polls.

The Secretary of State has revised the website to try and improve the wording and the workflow for becoming an election poll worker.
When you choose your county, if your county does not require any poll workers at this time, the options look like this:
If you choose your county and they are needing election poll workers, the options look like this:
If you check all the boxes, you are allowed to continue to apply to work the polls regardless of whether or not you select "Yes" or "No" for the masking question.
While this is certainly an improvement, one has to wonder why the question is even being asked.
