Hey my patriot friends,

I am grateful for the opportunity to share a few thoughts, even if only by video. I would have loved to be with you in person, but I simply could not break free from the battle that is being waged in the once conservative State of Idaho.

We too suffer here from an establishment that has proven to be terribly destructive to the liberties of the people of Idaho.

We refuse to be victims!

Within the past year in Idaho we have seen a republican governor and a limp legislature claim that they have the right to force the people living in the State of Idaho to “self-isolate” at their place of residence, authorizing the people to leave their residence only to perform government approved “essential activities”, directing all business owners to cease “non-essential” operations defined by a health order, prohibiting individuals from gathering in any number, including religious services, peaceful assembly, and family gatherings, ordering cessation of all “non-approved” travel, requiring “essential workers” to carry “Essential Critical Identification” when leaving their residence, and mandating “social distancing requirements”.(8)

The Self-Isolation order incorporated federal guidelines from the Department of Treasury and the Department of Defense to qualify the Office of the Governor of Idaho to receive nearly 10 billions of federal emergency funds. That’s 8 times Idaho's annual budget. (9)(9a)(13b)

Additionally Governor Little signed an executive order under martial law authority, ordering that all the federal emergency funds will be spent by a team of people chosen by the governor and “serving at his pleasure”.

I’m not kidding, his order actually says, “serving at the pleasure of the Governor”.

So as you work together seeking to resolve and agree upon what must be done to secure liberty, I offer you these thoughts:

A couple hundred years after the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, the world went through a time of deep darkness lasting nearly 2000 years. Then, a light began to shine, the light of the Americas. A dream began to enter the minds of people all over the world, “The American Dream”. This dream was that a person could come to this land and be his own king, that he could have his own land, his own property, that it was his and that he was sovereign upon it.

However, securing this dream was not free, a great battle of independents ensued, the systems of government in the world at the time were kingdoms with a king at the top and all others subsidiaries to him, beholden to him and subject to him. After this battle, the Americas were different from the world, the establishment of the Constitution flipped the normal script of government upside down where each man was a sovereign, controlling his own life, owning his own property, not as a subsidiary or subject, not a slaves who serves to please one man, but as FREEMAN.

Now, 230 years later, the kingship ideology has crept back in and those with desires to rule and control have slowly turned our governments inside out, using the force of law to establish themselves as kings once again. The bright light on the hill shining upon the American dream is being intentionally snuffing out. Ownership of property including controlling one's own life, body and circumstance is being replaced with a claim that rulers have a right to control you, your property and even your free exercise of conscience.

We must maintain in Idaho the American dream, the dream that a person is their own king, that neighbors need to work together in some manner but that they do not lose their sovereignty as individuals. That they own their property, that it cannot be rightfully taken from them by the state or anyone else. That the state does not have the authority to control trade between individuals, to control the way they worship or where they travel, how they travel and what they travel in.

If we allow the idea of monarchy rule to flourish in America, (the once bastions of freedom and hope in the world) then we and our children may lose liberty again, we may plunge ourselves into another age of darkness greater than the world has ever known. We must not allow our sovereignty to be controlled by benevolent or oppressive rulers. We must hold onto the American Dream!

I reflect upon Patrick Henry’s words spoken in 1788, “Guard with jealous attention the public liberty, suspect everyone who approaches that Jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it, but downright force; whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined. Will the oppressor let go of the oppressed? Was there ever an instant? Can the annals of mankind exhibit one single example where rulers overcharge with power, willingly let go the oppressed, though solicited and requested most earnestly? A willing relinquishment of power is one of those things which human nature NEVER WAS nor ever will be capable of.”

I pray that we will consider fully the words of this wise founding father and act accordingly. That we will more attentively guard with jealousy the rare liberty that made the world dream of coming to America!
