Ammon Ammon Bundy stopped to help some motorists while enroute to Roosevelt, Utah to present to a group of about 70 people. The event was still successful with a prerecorded video from St. George's meeting.
On March 12th more than 70 people gathered at the Grace Center in Roosevelt Utah to listen to Ammon Bundy speak. Ammon was running behind schedule due to snow in the Mountain passes which caused several accidents. At one point in the trip Ammon pulled off the road to help some people warm up while they waited for help to arrive.
Due to the delays Utah's Area 11 decided to watch a video of Ammon's recorded visit to St. George Utah a few days earlier.
While the group gathered the youth in the area help set up chairs & patriotic displays. Kayla Timothy then played beautiful cello music. The local youth group known as American Rythm, led by Lianne Aimes, also performed very inspiring songs & dances.
A prayer was offered. The Roosevelt Scouts presented their colors.
Janelle Barker shared her experiences as she has been with the People's Rights network & Wendy Leatham gave a summary of Ammon Bundy's involvement with getting the People's Rights network started.
The group in Roosevelt anticipated Ammon's arrival but during the meeting the decision was made to watch a recording of Ammon's presentation in St. George. It was well received and nine (9) more people signed up to be in Utah's area 11 network.
The group helped clean up and visited with each other for a few minutes before going home as more snow began falling in Roosevelt.
